Welcome and serve guests in person and over the phone every day. Enjoy solving problems, be comfortable using a computer to check guests in and out, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and confidently. Provide that critical first impression to our guests and have a natural passion for delivering exceptional service. Handle guest requests and concerns promptly with courtesy.
Responsibilities:
· Guest Service Agents should have the ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
· Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
· Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
· Making and modifying reservations, hotel operator, and concierge duties. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
· Perform all front desk duties including resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
· Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance staff.
· Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
· Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
· Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting
· Handle emergency situations when necessary, i.e. first aid, fire emergencies
· Ensure all shift duties are completed.
· Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
· Develop understanding of how travel planning websites operate.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
