BuildEd, the leader in 21st Century Entrepreneurship Education, is seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist to drive maximum impact with each of our partner organizations. This broadly includes 1) orienting and engaging new partners at the group and individual levels, which includes helping to create a complete internal understanding of our new partner, 2) driving enrollment from existing partners through regular emails, phone calls, and meetings, and 3) and aggressively identifying and pursuing opportunities for BuildEd to integrate more closely and serve more people together with our partners. This position works together closely with one or more Partner Success Managers who oversee specific client accounts, and the Head of Programming. The most qualified applicants will be extremely good at creating and maintaining professional relationships outside of a supervisor/supervisee capacity (experience coordinating volunteers, parents, voluntary social service recipients, or other unpaid helpers is essential). They will also be well organized, comfortable with computers, and ready to pitch in on whatever needs to be done.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

  • Orienting new partners, including collecting information about their organizations and communities
  • Calling and emailing various partners, creating program engagement, and documenting all interactions
  • Complete ongoing outreach to enrolled participants to create and maintain engagement, and drive completion
  • Collaborating with the team to create a complete, holistic understanding of our client’s situations and needs
  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong phone skills and a helpful, cheerful demeanor
  • Good with people, including remembering details about them and creating connections
  • Comfortable using a wide variety of basic computer applications and a high comfort level with learning new software
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization and strong organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable, pleasant, and a team player

AN EXCEPTIONALLY WELL QUALIFIED APPLICANT MIGHT HAVE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Asana, GSuite, Wordpress
  • Workforce Development, Education, or Social Services experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,845.00 per month
