Job Summary

The Virtual Facilitator is responsible and accountable for oversight of tasks and processes developed to drive virtual patient care utilization and satisfaction, including patient and provider virtual assistance and leveraging reporting systems. The Virtual Facilitator is responsible for supporting virtual visits in a multitude of ways. Responsibilities to include: supporting several providers in varying specialties; managing chart pre-work, required patient data, questionnaire review; identifying emergent changes in patient status and alerting appropriate resources; communicating in real-time to virtual waiting room patients; troubleshooting technology for patient and provider, completing necessary technology test calls; and coordinating complex provider schedule with appointment needs. The Virtual Facilitator is expected to provide written and verbal communication that is clear and concise with enthusiasm to grow digital health systems and promotes quality initiatives and improves patient outcomes. Working knowledge of medical terminology and and use of professional written communication when making notes is essential to the role. Additional duties as assigned.

Models excellent customer service skills and take initiative to meet the needs of all to ensure customer focus and a positive virtual care experience. Communicates effectively and with a high level of diplomacy with clinical staff and pateints. Must be able to work on multiple daily tasks with efficiency and high-quality accuracy while handling multiple internal and external customer communications. Other desired traits include familiarity with process improvement, problem-solving, knowledge of the healthcare system and medical terminology, and ability to establish priorities and coordinate tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Post secondary education of one - two years, with an emphasis in healthcare or medical related field is preferred.

Minimum of two years of experience in administrative support, customer service, business, credentialing, provider services, or healthcare experience required.

Computer proficiency and technical aptitude required. Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential. Remote work experience preferred.
