OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Customer Service Representative II who will be responsible for entering and processing assigned customer orders received by mail, fax, email, or customer portals/websites. Acts as a first point of contact for customer issues and inquiries. Ensures customer order information is accurate.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews purchase orders prior to order entry
  • Verifies purchase orders received for accuracy in part numbers, price and billing information
  • Enters customer orders, changes, and other data into the computer system
  • Receives orders, tracks progress of orders with various internal teams, and follows up on customer inquiries and issues, order shortages, shipment discrepancies, and/or damaged product
  • Confers with production, shipping, warehouse, and third-party carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments, or order shortages
  • Provides timely and accurate information to customers on order status and product knowledge requests
  • Partners with shipping staff to ensure correct delivery terms and customer requirements
  • Participates in inter-company meetings such as Production, Strategic Customer Service and Customer Service staff meetings
  • Manages inventory programs for applicable customers to include reviewing forecasts, managing on hand inventory, and running Pull reports
  • Answers phone, mail, and email queries and correspondence
  • Maintains open order reports for individual customers and provides updates and tracking information
  • Maintains customer name and shipping information
  • Records and files orders


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years’ related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Attention to detail and quality


EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
